The House Dog and the Wolf
The House Dog and the Wolf, by Gail Terp. Tells about a wolf who learns he would rather be free than having food. A wolf who is super hungry finds a dog friend. The wolf wanted food because he was starving. The dog promised him, he would always get food. However, the wolf learned if he came with the dog to get food. However, the wolf would not have freedom. The wolf went with the dog and learned about his life. Then the wolf realized if he came with the dog he would be on a chain all day. The wolf went back to the woods because he did not want to be locked up on a chain all day, even though he would be fed.
I rate this book 7/10 because I like all of the details it has in it. For example, “It had been a long and miserable winter for Wolf. His hunting had not gone well for many weeks and his ribs were nearly sticking through his skin.” I wonder if the dog was out at night or the day when the wolf and the dog met.
I can tell that you are using an IVF topic sentence Hunter. However, make sure that you make it one sentence. Keep reading! :)
