Animals of Long Ago

 

Animals of Long Ago teaches about the animals from 300 million years ago. To begin with, I learned that sharks have been around for 370 Million years. I also learned about the age of insects. Did you know that the dragonfly was three feet long, and the cockroach is 300 million years old? Next, I learned about the age of dinosaurs. Triceratopses go in herds and their horns protect them from tyrannosaurus rex. I also learned about the age of mammals. Did you know giant beavers were 20 feet long? There were ground sloths too. They were super tall, so they could reach tall branches from the ground.


I rate this book 10 out of 10. I like this book because it is like you're on an adventure with the animals from long ago. For example, the author said, “let's put on your diving suit.” I did not know that beavers were 20 long, and cockroaches are 300 million years old.
