What Was The Great Depression

What Was the Great Depression, a history book by Janet Pascal tells what it was like in the US 'worst times.  To begin, the Great Depression happened because it was so out of control in the sock market. Another fact about the Great Depression is that people didn’t have any money because they spent it on socks. Even banks ran out of  money because the bank did not have enough money to pay back the people. Furniture stores also went down because no one had enough money to buy their furniture. Farmers didn’t have as much trouble because the military needed food to feed the soldiers for WW1. That made the farmers buy more land and when the Great Depression happened farmers couldn't sell their crops. Thanks to WW1 everyone in the US could get a job.

When I first read this book I did know it was very long ago. I thought the picture was very understanding. Also I learned a lot from this book like how the bank went out. If history from not long ago this is perfect for you. Lastly this book was very easy see because it was double space.
