Edison is famous for making the light bulb and a lot of cool inventions. One of the struggles Edison had was that he did not have enough money to make his inventions. Edison overcame this by asking people to invest in his ideas, and that's how he earned the money to make more inventions. Thomas went on to invent the lightbulb, the phonograph, and many other inventions. He also improved the first telephone and inspired the telegraph. We know Thomas Alva Edison for making the light bulb that we use to light up the world.

I like this book because I like learning about people who are famous. Also I like this book because I really wanted to know how the light bulb was made. This book shows what life was like during Edison’s time. It included information and even pictures of the 1800’s. I did not know the other things Thomas made like the first voice recorder. I think you should definitely read this book if you want to learn about the first light bulbs and a lot of other inventions.
