Planets

Planets, by Elizabeth Carney, tells about the Solar system and about the planets. One interesting fact was about the Sun. Did you know the Sun's surface is about 100 times harder than a summer day and also it can fit a million Earths inside the Sun. Another interesting fact is about the gas giants. There are four gas giants: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The draft  planets are smaller than regular planets and they also look like an egg. Next is our moon. Did you know astronauts have been walking on the moon for more than 40 years? Your planet Earth. Did you know that Earth is the third planet from the sun? Finally the inner planets. Mercury, Venus,Earth, and Mars are the hottest planets.

I like this book because I learned a lot of things about planets. My favorite part of the book was about the Gas Giants.  The book was very interesting because it showed the differences between the planets. I thought the pictures were really cool. This book is a good book if you want to learn about your planets.
