WW2 In Europe Great Battles For Boys

                             WW2 In Europe

   Great Battles For Boys

WW2 In Europe Great Battles For Boys, a history book, shows how the Nazis tried to take over Europe. To begin, the first chapter was about Red Army trying to take over Finland. Finland had great snipers, and that is how they won. Another chapter was about how the Nazis took over Kurst. Kurst was the biggest Russian city. A chapter was about how the Nazis and the Americans fought over Africa. Battle of Bulge was an interesting chapter. If the Nazis won the Battle, the Nazis would have taken over the world. It was a close battle between the Americans and the Nazis. The B-17 Flying Fortress is a giant Bomer plane that is still in use today. It was very helpful during the war. If the United States didn't have the B-17, they would probably have lost the war. The Final Chapter is D-Day, D-Day stands for the day the war will start. The war was the bloodiest war out of all the wars. The Nazis had great weapons, so it was very hard to take the beach of Normandy.

I liked this book because it has a lot of history in it. One thing I learned from this book is that WW2 was mostly in Europe. The soldiers that fought against the Nazis were Canadians, British, Americans, and French. I wonder what it was like fighting someone who spoke a different language than you. I have a personal connection, at the airport, I met a Navy veteran from World War II. He worked in a Navy submarine. That's very rare because there are not a lot of vets left in the world.
